These are a Few of my Favorite Things...

So, with Spring upon me, writing regularly has become difficult. I will still attempt to be blogging bi-weekly, but can't resist enjoying life outdoors while I can! To have a little fun with the beginning of Summer under way, I decided to do a post that I was tagged in by one of my favorite bloggers (who also happens to be my sister) - Alice at My Golden Journey.

Rules :

❈ Link back to and thank the person who tagged you (*hugs* to you Alice!).
Link back to and thank the blogger who began the tag (Thanks, Beth.😊).
List and picture seven of your favorite things.
Tag at least seven people (or as many as you can).
❈ Use the picture above (at Beth's request).
List the seven rules.
Have fun!

1. The book Stepping Heavenward by Ms. E. Prentiss

This book has been instrumental in my walk as a Christian girl.
It is so full of wisdom and encouragement, I can't recommend it enough!

2. Spring Lilacs

These have always been some of my Mom's favorite flowers,
and their sweet scent and beautiful color have made them one of my favorites as well!

3. Appaloosas (obviously...)

Years ago, before I ever had a horse, I loved Appaloosas. Their patterns and history
fascinated me, making them my favorite. I never would have imagined that God
had a little Appaloosa mare just waiting to be mine!

4. This Bible Journaling set I scored at Hobby Lobby

I use this for everything from marking my Bible to writing notes.

5. Peppermint

Peppermint tea, peppermint candy, peppermint ice cream, peppermint soap...
I love peppermint. It is hands down one of my favorite flavors/scents.

6. The book of Esther

Like most kids growing up in a Christian home, I have heard Bible stories about David, Samuel, Esther and many others for as long as I can remember. But it wasn't until I began studying
these books of the Bible that I truly realized how incredible their stories were. God is
glorified through their triumphs and their short-comings, and I am continually
challenged to live with the courage and faith that they had.

7. Music

Playing music has always been a big part of my life. I learned to play piano before I can
remember, and violin when I was seven. I have never stopped. I am constantly
intrigued with learning new melodies on the violin, piano, or guitar - whether it
be making up my own, or challenging myself to learn something new and a step
more advanced. Music catches my attention almost as much as horses do.

Bloggers I tag are:
